I have always been drawn to word, quotes actually and this one has been with me since I was in my twenties. It still resonates with me, considering I had a long art teaching career. Giving kids supportive roots as they grow, and then encouragement when it is time to fly is still so relevant to me to this day. I tied in the words with the imagery that came to me as I  thought of this project. Hope someone finds the same connection as I have.
