802ARTsHouse is calling on member artists to submit artwork for our first Celebrate Craft Holiday Art Festival Poster. This year’s festival theme is:  The Trees Have It…for Life!  Any artist member from 802ARTsHouse is eligible to enter. Artwork can represent any medium (2D and 3D), as long as the image submitted meets our printing criteria. Any tree connections are an added bonus!

The chosen artwork will be the featured image on the poster, which will include the name of the artist and artwork. Posters will be printed on 11”x17” high quality paper, suitable for framing. The winning artist(s) will be expected to sign some posters for sale.

This 2025 Celebrate Craft Holiday Art Festival is the result of a two year collaboration with Celebrate Vermont, a local art show producer.  The festival takes place November 21-23, 2025 at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton in South Burlington.  This show will share the work of over 120 artists, craftspeople, and specialty food and drink vendors.

The Poster will be sold as a fundraiser for 802ARTshouse Foundational Fund at the 2025 Holiday Art Festival.  This is a project supporting future Show Development for 802ARTsHouse.  802ARTsHouse is a 501(c)(3) organization supporting regional artists.  We plan to make this an ongoing part of this festival for future years.

The chosen artist and artwork will receive additional promotion along with the poster. We will work with the artist to provide the very best opportunities, which can include:

• paid 802ARTsHouse membership for the year
• separate table for signing posters. 
• press release announcing winner with social media posts
• feature on 802ARTsHouse.org website

Additional Information:

1. Artwork for the 2025 802ARTsHouse Holiday Art Festival Poster needs to be 11” wide by 14” high, or proportionate so that it can be reduced to this size. The artwork needs to be vertical. 
2. Artwork needs to be submitted by September 4 to ethompson@802artshouse.org for consideration.  Final decision will be made by the 802ARTsHouse Board of Directors.
3. The artwork image must be high resolution jpg, print ready, 300 dpi. Do not add text.  We will add Festival information to the poster itself.
4. The Artist gives 802ARTsHouse exclusive use of the image for all purposes, including but not limited to posters, advertising, and notecards. 
5. The winning artist and the 2025 Poster will be revealed to the public in October.The artist will be asked to sign posters for sale at the 2025 Holiday Art Festival. 
6. The artist will be featured on the 802ARTsHouse website, which will include the poster image, bio and links to artist websites.
