Rachel Box-Dunne, Jewelry

I primarily make polymer clay earrings and jewelry. I hand mix custom colors and use custom cutters made by other small business makers or 3d printed by myself. I sometimes also hand cut my shapes and designs. I love to include a variety of glitters, mica powders, pan pastels, alcohol inks and acrylic paints. I am also very much into incorporating textures (especially my signature 3d pyramid texture onto my jewelry). Once my pieces have been baked, I hand sand and drill my components. Varnish might be included depending on the desired finish or need to seal. I like to use resin or polycyclic sealant. For findings, I usually use surgical stainless steel or gold plated surgical stainless steel to help reduce tarnishing as well as allergic reactions. I one day hope to switch to titanium and gold filled elements.

I am self-taught. I have been making things with my hands for all of my life and have finally had a chance to turn everything I have ever learned into my business which is my passion.
